Homemade Cheese Crackers

  • 226 g Cheddar cheese
  • 4 tbsp Unsalted butter cold
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 120 g all-purpose flour
  • 2-3 tbsp ice-cold water


  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  • place the cheese and butter in the blender and mix until until the cheese and butter are creamed together.
  • add the salt and flour in the blender and mix again.
  • Turn the mixer on low speed and add the ice water, 1 tablespoon at a time until the dough just comes together. It took 3 tbsp for me not more.
  • Roll the dough thinly on parchment paper dusted with flour and cut into shaped or simple squares.
  • Bake for 15-18 minutes or until they get golden on the edges.
